Bassani warrants it's Motorcycle products to be free from Manufacturer defects for 1 year from date of purchase only. Bassani Motorcycle products are covered under no other warranty, expressed or implied as to merchantability or fitness for a particular use other than mentioned herein

Bassani Xhaust

Bassani Xhaust warrants its Stainless Steel Automotive line of products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, for as long as the Original Purchaser shall own the vehicle on which is was originally installed.  This warranty applies only to products advertised for installation and use on street vehicles, which are to be operated on public roads and highways.

BX Performance

Bassani's BX Performance Automotive Line of products are covered by a limited lifetime warranty with original proof of purchase only, to cover manufacturing defects. All aluminized components are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for 18 months from date of purchase.

All Stainless components in the BX performance line are covered by our lifetime warranty.

Bassani Xhausts' high performance products incorporating catalytic converters are NOT street legal and are not designed or advertised for use as stock replacement parts.  All parts shall be covered under the above warranty with exception of catalytic converters themselves, which carry a specific 90-day warranty.  This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship only and does not cover catastrophic failure, such as catalyst overheating due to state of engine tune or any Physical Damage imposed upon the converter itself or its housing.

Nickel (Industrial Chrome) finish on Automotive headers is warranted until installation and use of product at which time it is considered to have a limited resistance to rusting, discoloration and peeling.

High temperature ceramic coating on Automotive headers is warranted against de-bonding and tube "rust through" for as long as the original purchaser shall own the vehicle on which it was originally installed; superficial surface rusting of header coating, especially between tubes, is considered normal and therefore not  warranted as a defect in materials and workmanship.

Bassani Xhaust mufflers are NOT warranted to produce or cancel any particular tone, note or resonance. As sound preference is purely subjective, Bassani Xhaust recommends you conduct thorough research prior to making a purchase.

Any modification to an original "As Shipped" Bassani product shall Void it's warranty.  Any deviation from the original intended installation of a Bassani product shall also render the warranty Void.

To be considered for warranty replacement or repair, at the discretion of Bassani Xhaust, all products must be returned, with Original Proof of Purchase, to Bassani via Pre-Paid freight.  Eligibility for warranty consideration shall be verified with corrective action required upon visual inspection of presumed defective product. Bassani Xhaust shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to, installation labor charges, freight, or loss of use or damage to vehicle.

IMPORTANT SUPPLEMENTAL WARRANTY INFORMATION:

Federal E.P.A. and individual state laws make it illegal to remove properly functioning OEM catalytic converters from vehicles, which are operated on public streets and highways.  As such, installations of Bassani Xhausts' catalyst equipped products are not legal for sale or installation on vehicles, which are operated on public streets and highways.

Installation of these products as intended in competition applications may require use of MIL eliminators or O2 Simulators to avoid possible setting a catalyst efficiency code, which will cause illumination of your vehicles' "Check Engine" light.  This is due to the inability of currently available after-market converters to emulate the exact operation of factory OEM converters in late model year OBDII emission monitoring/control system applications.

Bassani Xhaust recommends aftermarket catalyst installation to be followed by a six-month road test period to determine the need for such a modification.
